Midgate-Compatible Design

One of the biggest advantages of the Silverado EV and Sierra EV platform is the available Midgate design.

For Midgate-equipped trucks, Dirtbox systems can be configured to support a pass-through layout between the cab and the enclosed bed area. The Midgate can stay down with our setup, creating a connected interior space that is especially useful for camping, long cargo, pets, gear storage, and extended travel.

Our Midgate-compatible design uses a silicone plate together with a fascia plate system to help create a cleaner transition between the cab and bed area. The rear structure is fully aluminum, giving the system the strength and durability needed for real-world use.

This is especially helpful for extended travel, four-season camping, and customers who plan to use the Midgate pass-through area as part of their sleeping or living setup.
