Refund policy
Return, Refund, Exchange, Cancellation, Damage, Deposit & Shipping Policy
At Dirtbox Overland, every product is proudly built in-house — by us, for you.
We don’t white-label, outsource, or resell. Our team designs, engineers, fabricates, and finishes everything under one roof.
That level of craftsmanship means we take our policies seriously — ensuring clarity, fairness, and protection for both you and our team.

Warranty & Repairs
Every Dirtbox Overland product is built, tested, and backed by our team.
We take pride in what we create — and we stand behind it.
Our limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring your gear performs the way it’s meant to.
If an issue ever comes up, we’ll make it right through repair or replacement, depending on what’s most appropriate for the situation.
Please note that refunds are not part of our warranty process once a product has been delivered or installed.
Warranty Coverage
-
Repairs or replacements are provided for defective parts or components, at Dirtbox Overland’s discretion
-
Refunds are not offered once delivery or installation has occurred
-
Repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy under this warranty
-
Labor, installation, and removal costs are not covered
This approach follows the same standard used throughout the automotive and outdoor manufacturing industries — much like a vehicle warranty or recall, where the focus is on service and support rather than cash refunds.
Our goal is simple: to keep your Dirtbox gear performing at its best, wherever your adventures take you.
Exchanges
For fastest turnaround, we recommend:
-
Placing a new order for the desired item
-
Initiating a return for the original (if eligible)
For direct exchanges:
-
You’re responsible for both return and replacement shipping
-
Replacements ship after we receive and inspect the original
Cancellations

📞 (720) 281-9445
📧 vivi@dirtboxoverland.com
-
Orders not yet in production or shipped may be canceled
-
Cancellations may be subject to processing or handling fees
-
Deposits are non-refundable, and orders requiring deposits cannot be canceled once paid
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
Modifications and DIY Installations
Please note:
-
Any modifications, including drilling holes, cutting, or altering the product in any way, void the return, refund, and cancellation policies.
-
All Billet Corner Packages require drilling during installation.
-
Canopy Campers with the Billet Corner Package installed are non-returnable and non-refundable.
-
DIY installations or modifications make the product ineligible for return or cancellation.
Labor Responsibility & Third-Party Installations
At Dirtbox Overland, we proudly back our products — but we do not cover labor.
Important:
-
Dirtbox Overland warranties and supports parts only. We do not reimburse or cover any labor charges.
-
This applies to installations, removals, diagnostics, inspections, or adjustments — whether performed at our Denver shop, by a third-party installer, or by one of our dealers.
-
If a customer asks a dealer or third party to remove or reinstall a product (such as a Canopy Camper), even if there is no fault or defect in the product or accessories, Dirtbox Overland is not liable for the labor charges incurred.
-
DIY installations and adjustments are done at your own discretion and risk. Modifications may affect warranty eligibility and are not supported after alteration.
Authorized Installers vs. Independent Shops
We always recommend having your product installed at Dirtbox Overland or through one of our authorized dealer partners.
If you choose to have your installation completed by a shop not within the Dirtbox Overland authorized dealer network, that installer assumes full responsibility for the quality and safety of the installation.
Any damages, fitment issues, or component failures resulting from improper installation by an unaffiliated shop must be resolved directly with that installer.
We’ll always do our best to support and guide your installation process remotely — including offering technical advice and clarifying fitment details — but Dirtbox Overland cannot cover labor, replacement parts, or damages caused by improper third-party installation.
Please confirm labor charges with your installer beforehand.
Dirtbox Overland is not responsible for billing disputes between customers and third-party service providers.
We’re always happy to help troubleshoot or provide guidance during your install process — just reach out.
Handling & Equipment Requirements
To ensure product integrity and personal safety, all Dirtbox Overland large-format products must be handled using appropriate lifting equipment.
This includes:
Canopy Campers · Full-Wing Truck Toppers · Flatbed Systems
Due to the weight and size of these products:
-
A forklift is required for all loading, unloading, and installation
-
Hand-handling is strictly prohibited and will void your warranty
-
Dirtbox Overland is not liable for any damage, scratches, dents, injury, or product failure resulting from improper handling methods or lack of proper lifting equipment
-
This policy applies whether you’re picking up from our Denver facility, receiving via freight, or installing through a third party
If you’re unsure what equipment is needed or how to prep for delivery or install, just give us a call — we’re happy to help ensure your setup goes smoothly and safely.
Credit Card Authorization
To ensure secure and transparent transactions, Dirtbox Overland may require a signed credit card authorization form for certain orders.
This form serves as documented proof that the customer agreed to the charges, which can be crucial in disputing chargebacks.
When is a Credit Card Authorization Form Required?
-
Custom or Made-to-Order Products (including Canopy Campers, Truck Bed Toppers, Genesis Systems, Flatbeds, and Drawer Systems)
-
High-Value Transactions (orders exceeding $5,000)

Security and Compliance
We are committed to protecting your personal and financial information.
All credit card authorization forms are handled in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Forms are stored securely, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Why is this Necessary?
Implementing credit card authorization forms helps us:
-
Prevent fraud by verifying the cardholder’s consent to the charges
-
Reduce chargebacks by providing documented proof of authorization
-
Ensure transparency by clearly outlining the terms of payment
