Can I get installation at your headquarters?
Yes — we offer free installationfor canopy campers and truck toppers at our Denver location.
Accessory and electrical installs are $150/hr, and complex flatbed builds or custom fabrication are $225/hr.

How long is the lead time for new builds?
Most canopy campers and toppers take about 2–4 weeks from deposit to completion, depending on configuration and season.
For most flatbed builds, the turnaround is usually around 3–4 months, depending on options and scheduling.
Can my local shop become an installer or dealer?
Yes — we’re expanding our U.S. dealer network.

Do you ship directly to customers?
Yes — we can ship to your local installer at a commercial addressor to a residential address.For residential deliveries, please check with your HOA or community to ensure that a freight flatbed truck can access your area for drop-off.

What if none of the install locations are near me?
We recommend using a professional truck outfitter because they have the right equipment to handle canopy campers, toppers, flatbeds, and drawer installations safely.
If none of our listed shops are nearby and you have a trusted local shop, we’re happy to coordinate directly with your preferred installer to ensure a smooth process.
Can I install it myself?
Yes — if you’re handy and have the right tools, self-installation is possible.We generally recommend self-installing our truck toppers, which weigh around130–180 lbs and are designed for easier setup.
For canopy campers and flatbeds, we strongly recommend using a professional installation shop, as these products require heavy lifting equipment and precise alignment for proper fitment.

What is the process for getting installed at a dealer or installer?
After placing your order (either directly with us or through a dealer/installer), a Dirtbox representative will contact you to coordinate your installation date and confirm availability.
We’ll then arrange shipment of your unit directly to your chosen shop close to the scheduled install date and help confirm that everything is ready for a proper setup.
